Change to US Keyboard
Click the "Start" button and then Select System... Preferences.. Keyboard
Select the "Layout" tab
Select the "Keyboard Model"
Vendors Generic
Models Generic 101-key PC
Click the "OK" button
Click the "Add" button
Select Layouts: USA
Click the "Add' button
Select the "USA" radio button
Click the "Close" button
Click the "Start" button and then Select System... Preferences... Keyboard
Select the "Keyboard Model"
Click "Generic"
Click the "OK" button
Test your keyboard in the "Type to test setting" text box
Click the "Close" button
Select the "Layout" tab
Select the "Keyboard Model"
