I corrupted my video and wanted to boot into recovery mode to fix the issue. I attempted to log in numerous times until I figured out that the keyboard was back to Italian. The Language tool on the login screen didn't seem to work. I just re-imaged it and thanks to good backups I was up and running in minutes.

Is there a workaround?
