LiveUSB hangs...
Sorry, should have used a new topic, this is a different problem than frafra's.
So this is it:
1)
Cloned the nbcaine2.0.dd.001 to an USB flash memory stick with dd.
Boots and after the Ubuntu purple screen get thrown back to a minimal shell.
This is the error screen:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
BusuBox v1.13.3 (Ubuntu 1:1.13.3-1ubuntu11) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
(initramfs) mount: mounting /dev/sda5 on /snap-backing failed: invalid argument
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is this related to fstab, just a suggestion.
2)
Also get boot screen saying:
boot:
After hitting <Enter> get menu with different boot options.
Isn't this confusing ?
kind regards,

Re: LiveUSB hangs...
It's strange...because the nbcaine.dd.001 it's the image file of my pendrive and it works perfectly booting from my Samsung NC10 Netbook...did you check the MD5 of the dd file ?
Thanks

Thanks

Re: LiveUSB hangs...
Nanni,
I did check both the MD5 of the zip-file and the image and they were OK.
I suppose I have to read more carefully what is on the site: I tried to boot the key on a regular PC instead of a netbook. I suppose that is the problem.

Re: LiveUSB hangs...
I just booted NBCaine 2.0 on a Desktop computer and it works...
SO, I ask you if you clone the DD image file on a pendrive with no strange partitioning or others things....now I'm trying to clone the dd image file on a 2Gb pendrive and I'll see....
Stay tuned
