Remastered ISO
After installing CAINE on my system I created an ISO image that was about 650 MB in size. I then installed several packages, and removed some packages. The new ISO was now 1.1 GB. I removed packages again and again but each time the ISO just gets larger. I suspected that the old cdfs and iso that I deleted was remaining on my drive and included in the new ISO. I cleared the temp files and the trash bin but still the created iso grows.
Any solutions to remaster under 700 MB to burn to a CD?

Re: Remastered ISO
check to have not rubbish in in /home/user/.local/share/Trash and that in /var/cache/apt/archives you have not a copy of all pachages you installed.
That could take a lot of space.

Re: Remastered ISO
I wrote a guide to create a live distro starting from the installed release.
After the launch of Caine 1.5, I could publish it...
