nbcaine won't install
Hi Everyone,
I downloaded and wrote nbcaine-0.5 to a flash drive and then tried to install to my netbook. Install fails after partitioning during the write process with a code5 error, saying there is a problem with the cd (obviously not) or the hard disk (can't find any errors). Md5 of image is good, so I don't have any ideas off hand as to the problem.

nbcaine won't install
Hi Denis,
I agree, cd install works without a problem. Nanni indicated that nbcaine had some fixes and updates, and I was hoping to install it to my netbook.

NBCaine has some more in the Windows side of the distro.

Re: nbcaine won't install
Hello everybody,
first of all thanks a lot for this wonderful collection of tools - I already managed to restore some photos using caine (sfdumper) from a hard disk that was repartitioned twice. The owner of the photos is very happy...
I do however also have problems installing caine on a thumb drive or a SD card:
I tried the "liveusb" method but stopped after 4 hours without any result. I also tried installing to a SD card with no result.
A live-usb version in english would be great - ready to be dd'd to a sd card or thumb drive. Or a version that can be used with the windows fedora install program (https://fedorahosted.org/liveusb-creator/).
And the nbcaine- version should be offered in english: even though I understand italian - most people don't.
Thanks and keep up the good work

Re: nbcaine won't install
_c_,
My comments about installation were strictly related to the nbcaine install, not CAINE 0.5. I can and have installed CAINE 0.5 to both USB (via the live install application for persistent storage and unetbootin) and to hard drive with ubiquity installer. If these processes have failed you, you might have a poorly burned CD, even if your download .iso is without error. You might try to slow down your burning speed, burn a new CD, and try again.
