Booting CAINE 1.5 with MS Virtual PC 2007 from .iso image
The following is how I was able to boot CAINE 1.5 in MS Virtual PC 2007 using the .iso file on my Compaq F500 with Athlon X2 and NVIDIA Graphics.
After you have installed MS Virtual PC 2007 and created a Virtual Disk (mine was 3 Meg in size with 768 MB RAM) Click the "CD" menu and select "Capture ISO Image". Browse to where you've saved the CAINE .iso file.
At the CAINE 1.5 Boot Menu...
#1 Select Start CAINE Live CD in Safe Graphics Mode
#2 Press "e"
#3 Press "e"
#4 Type the following without quotes: "noapic nolapic vga=791"
#5 Press your "enter" key
#6 Press "b"
