slow USB 3 speed on Mac Mini

Hello.  I booted a Mac Minu using Caine 6 on a flash drive and used Guymager for imaging.  The source drive is attached to the Mac Mini via a USB 3 write blocker and and the destination drive via a USB 3 dock.  I noticed that the acquisition and verification speed are slow (44 Mbps and 90 Mbps, respectively).  I've used this same setup before except for a Windows workstation (instead of the Mac Mini) and the acquisition and verification speed are much more faster.  

Can you please shed some light about the discrepancy in speed and if there is anything I can do to fix this issue?

Hi,
I don't think is a problem of Caine, BTW the mac mini's usb3 speeds are quite good I saw the same using a PC Laptop...I think could be a problem of the controller, the usb band, etc.
