How_to_open_hdd_file_system_without_C.A.In.E._(4.0)
Hello. I’m using your distribution disk like live CD a long time ago, but one day I used last version of C.A.In.E. (4.0) when making bit-to-bit copy of hard disk driver with «Agestar SUBT» (USB 2.0 to 2.5&3.5 SATA HDD Docking station) to another HDD and when I finished and tried to analysis of the boot sector and the partition table of the HDD image by «Tableau T35is» using «AccessData FTK Imager v.3.1.3.2» at first time I shoved off with one big problem: operation system (Microsoft Windows 7 SP1) gave me information that there is no partitions; «AccessData FTK Imager» gave me information that there is NTFS file system and zero data about image file or other files which I downloaded. I starting recover data from HDD with «R-Studio», «UFS Explorer» and after all «PC-3000 Data Extractor». Result – zero. But when I reconstruct conditions like when I made bit-to-bit copy HDD I saw with C.A.In.E. OS all my files. In fact only with C.A.In.E. I can see and manage all file in this HDD. In fact this is the first time when I saw this problem.
How can it be?
p.s. R.I.P. Linux v.13.7, Ubuntu v.12.04, Slackware v.14.0 and "WinHex v.16.8" didn’t give me any good results.

I don't understand what is the issue....
You did a bit to bit hd copy using Guymager in Caine? Or did you use dd, dc3dd or AIR?
Did you chose /dev/sdX and not /dev/sdX1 or something like I hope...because the number sdX1 is the partition and not the whole disk.
bye

I did bit-to-bit copy of hdd using dd and dc3dd. I didn't mount source hdd and mounted only receiver hdd in r/w mode in /mnt/sdb1 directory. I did it all at safe graphical mode. I didn't use full size graphical mode with friendly user interface.
p.s. dc3dd if=/dev/sda of=/mnt/sdb1/macbook3.dd

Yes, it is. It was only one hdd which was mounted.
In fact no one can't tell me what happened. Starting Dolphin Data lab (http://www.datarecoverytools4u.com/) and ending AceLab (http://acelab.ru/). Result from grep is zero. I can't believe in this magic.
