Possible Mounting Bug
Hi,
I don't know if you have picked up on this bug identified by Suhanov Maxim of ITDefence.Ru

It would appear that Debian (and therefore Ubuntu) based distros have a bug in the casper scripts that mean that under certain circumstances file systems can be mounted and written to on boot-up. caine would appear to be susceptible to this bug.
I picked it up from Forensic focus which pointed to this page which points to some proof-of concept files that you might want to have a look at.
